I once "met" Marilyn Manson back in 2009 through a meet and greet organised by HMV. Manson was promoting 'The High End of Low' and I must have spent all of 10 seconds actually interacting with him. Still it was a surreal experience.
I don't know that guy in the shell suit. He was there with a lady in a wheel chair who was his friend, relative or handler, I was never really sure. Anyway they asked if I'd take photos for them so I obliged and did a terrible job. Thankfully Manson randomly grabbed the camera & started snapping, so there is at least an interesting story behind them.
Destiny is very flawed video game, but I would be lying if I haven't had a lot of fun with it.
So much waiting.
Fascinating post by Greg Koenig.
In school I always thought of tech lessons as a good time, but ultimately something to coast through. Really wish that I had paid more attention. Being a software developer is great, but sometimes I pine for a craft that brings something into the physical world.
For a while now I've known that if Apple were to enter an entirely new product category I would buy it. I was too young & poor to be a part of the new iPhone/iPad zeitgeists. However I also realise the huge improvements that come from 2nd gen products. The original iPad was only supported up to iOS5, while the iPad 2 technically still lives on as the iPad mini. Because of that I'm going to be keeping the Apple watch as cheap as I can, with the 42mm Apple Watch sport. To be honest I think it looks the nicest anyway.
